Mastodon instances set their own character limits - typically 500, but can be 1000, 5000, or even unlimited. Statuz detects your instance's limit automatically and displays correct count. Post up to instance limit without guesswork.
How to Use

- 2Open composer with Mastodon account
- 3Show character counter: "500"
- 4Type 450 characters
- 5Counter shows: "50 remaining"
- 6Connect to different instance (1000 char limit)
- 7Open composer with new account
- 8Counter shows: "1000"
