What This Is

MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets AI assistants control apps. We built an MCP server into Statuz. Now Claude, Cursor, Zed, and other AI tools can manage your social media directly.

No new interface to learn. Just talk to your AI like you already do.

What You Can Do

  • Schedule posts: "Post this tomorrow at 9am"
  • Query calendar: "What's scheduled for next week?"
  • Edit posts: "Add #Launch to Monday's post"
  • Create threads: "Make a 3-part thread about our features"
  • Batch operations: "Schedule 5 posts throughout the week"
  • Manage accounts: "Show my connected accounts"
  • Open UI: "Open the calendar"

15+ tools. All accessible through conversation.

Why This Matters

Social media tools are full of forms and menus. Click here, fill this, select that. It's slow. It interrupts your flow.

With MCP, you stay in your AI assistant. "Schedule a post about the feature I just shipped" while you're still in Cursor. No app switching. No context loss.

How to Set It Up

  1. Open Statuz Settings
  2. Go to MCP Server
  3. Turn it on

That's it. Your AI assistant can now control Statuz.

Where It Works

  • Claude Desktop - General social media management
  • Cursor - Post about code while coding
  • Zed - Same idea, different editor
  • Any MCP-compatible tool - The protocol is open

The Real Benefit

You'll post more. Not because you're more disciplined, but because the friction is gone. When posting is as easy as saying "schedule this for tomorrow," you actually do it.

That's the whole point of building this.
